Elizabeth joined Mission For Vision in May, 2014. She comes with over 24 years’ successful track record in the corporate and development sectors across organisations such as MS University of Baroda, Nielsen India and Sightsavers, where she was Chief Executive for India and then Director of Global Advocacy. She has provided strategic leadership to large programmes in complex, diverse organisational and operating environments, leading highly skilled multi-function teams in Asia and Africa. Over the years, she has pioneered and lead significant growth and transformation through social policy change and innovations that have provided learning and scale for wider application.
Through her role in various boards and advisory panels, Elizabeth has influenced policy and practice at several national and international fora and has various awards and research publications to her credit. Her key areas of interest include governance, strategic leadership, policy, research, multi-function and cross-cultural people management.
Elizabeth has a Master’s degree in Nutrition (for which she was awarded the university first rank and gold medal) and has done an Executive Programme in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She has also completed leadership courses from the Open University Business School, UK and Roffey Park, UK.
