Million people are estimated to be visually impaired worldwide
People living with blindness are aged 50 and above.
MFV has a clear vision to eradicate avoidable blindness in India, as a means to empower those already underprivileged. Today, MFV partners with 21 hospitals across 14 states, providing high quality eye health care to over 500,000 people living in economically challenged communities. Currently, MFV ensures free surgeries to over 179,000 lakh people per year and our goal is to reach half a million surgeries per year by 2020.
